I’ve been looking back over the archive of all the Christmas ideas I have shared over the last 11 years. It has surprised me how many of the websites I suggested have gone and new ones risen to take their place. I am pleased to see that videos from Father Christmas are still going strong at www.portablenorthpole.com. Here you can ask Santa to send a video to your kids, or you can play a joke on the “big kids” in your life. There are free as well as paid for videos.
E-cards, which I first mentioned back in 2007, are growing in popularity as people become more environmentally conscious and time-poor. I recently discovered www.punchbowl.com. They have a mixture of free and paid for cards, with the option to include gift vouchers (at additional charge). Their designs resemble real cards, which is a bit different than many of the other e-card sites. With all free sites, just be wary of adverts popping up and don’t click on them.
Every year I recommend you track Santa’s progress around the world on Christmas Eve. You can join one of the estimated 20 million people who visit this website every year at www.noradsanta.org
So as 2018 draws to a close, all that remains is for me to say a big thank you to you and my customers, both old and new. I do appreciate your emails and comments. It is great to know that I help inform and make Technology a little less stressful. Let’s look forward to a safe, secure and glitch free 2019!
Merry Christmas and Happy ‘Putering
